Next door people were loud and singing till 2 o'clock in the morning. When I complained about it in the morning, he told me that they had no reservation and he refused to give them a room, but the night shift she gave them the room. Result was a sleepless night because even that I knocking the wall, they cared less. Nice breakfast, good variety

Absolutely disgusting hotel. We left as soon as we had arrived. The staff were rude to start with. Then our door wouldn't unlock so the cleaner unlocked it for us with his key, then left. It's an old fashioned key lock. The bathroom door didn't close. The room was just old and run down. The carpets were disgusting like they hadn't been cleaned for years. And we just felt itchy on the beds so we had to leave. The location of the hotel was on a road which as two young girls, did not feel safe walking down, groups of men were staring at us and at one point it felt like we were being followed, no matter when or where we stopped. We didn't feel clean or safe.

Unfortunately I forgot my GHD straightening iron, value of euro 265. When I came back to get it, staff was rude and would not help as the cleaners had left. I tried coming back three times and was met with bad excuses and rudeness. I was finally told they did not have it, so obviously the cleaner or someone else stole it, because it has value. I do not think the hotel staff is aware that there is a treaty that Germany has signed that makes hotels responsible for the property that guests brings in to the hotel. They were arrogant and rude and kept telling me to call the police. When fact the matter is, they have no right to either take or throw out my property. They are obliged to keep for a certain amount of time or compensate it. I will never return.

I'm stayed in this hotel for 2 days . I am very disappointed. I asked for a double room when check in, and need to ask to change twice because they gave me the wrong room (using the stairs). I saw elderly people need to use the stairs because the lift was broken. Had to carry my luggage on the stairs without any help, or any discount. The RV was not workung, air conditioning was not working, there was a bad smell in the bathroom. Too much unacceptable things. The reception staff looks like lost. Not happy at all.

Looking for this hotel was a nightmare as the on the out side does not say Novum any where just Hotel Continental so walk outfront or railway station cross Rd over tram lines and turn right then walk 4min you will see it The man on front desk was wonderful (Aref) very polite and helpful I was on the first floor the lift is small and slow getting out the state of the carpet in hallway and stairs was disgusting the worst I have seen in a hotel the room was better no carpet single room small and compact bath room was OK but if your tall like me you have to bow down going in and out Room was OK desk TV but remote only worked if close to it internet was not good only worked some of the time not much else in the room it was made up each day the traffic and trams were loud at times don't think I would stay here again
